Burke Noel is president of PA Media Group, publisher of The Patriot-News and PennLive. With nearly 30 years in the media industry, he has helped PennLive become Pennsylvania’s most-read local news site and a nationally recognized leader in journalism. Under his leadership, the organization has earned widespread recognition for its investigative reporting, breaking news coverage, and commitment to addressing issues that matter most to the community.

Burke joined PA Media Group in 2015 and was named president in 2023. He is a strong supporter of initiatives that uplift youth and families, and he believes in the power of local journalism to inform, connect, and strengthen communities. Burke lives in the Harrisburg area with his family and is proud to serve on the board of the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg.
