MAXINE CUADRO, GRANT ADMINISTRATOR

Maxine Cuadro joined the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg as Grant Administrator in October 2021. Maxine is from the Bronx, New York where she attended Dewitt Clinton High School and later obtained a Bachelors in English Secondary Education and minor in Sociology from The City College of New York. Advocating and working for the youth has always been a passion for her.

Maxine has worked in the Morongo Unified School District and Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Libraries as well as volunteered for the Marine Corp Relief Society. She spent four years living in Southern California where she began her work in the movement, at the Boys & Girls Club of the Hi-Desert.

She started as the Front Desk in 2019 and was promoted to Director of Operations shortly after. During the beginning of the COVID-19 Pandemic she was promoted again as Interim Executive Director and reconstructed the organization to operate as a Distance Learning for the 2020-2021 academic year. Maxine is currently working on her Master’s in Education from Western Governors University in Instructional Design.
