To keep with the mission of the Boys and Girls Club to provide caring mentors to help the children in our community develop essential personal and academic skills so they can succeed in life.

The goal of introducing a reading challenge is to provide additional support to help the Club for Covid-19 relief and further extend it’s impact to reach more children in Harrisburg.
We want to provide increased public awareness of the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg in Harrisburg. We are looking to enhance partnerships with aligned community organizations: Schools, libraries, service providers an more.
We are asking participants to get involved by simply using their cell phones to film themselves and/or colleagues reading a book. We have many book suggestions located in our Resource Center below.
After filming is complete, simply upload the video to YouTube and copy the URL and send to the email of our Boys & Girls Club Communications Outreach Chair – Scott Pitts. Scott@SpitDigitalCreative.com
