WHAT IS GIVING TUESDAY?
GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea. It's a day that encourages people, communities and organizations to do good. Over the past seven years, it has grown into a global movement that inspires millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
This year, GivingTuesday is Dec. 1, 2020.
How You Can Donate
Now, more than ever, The Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg need YOUR support. As you know, your donations and contributions are the foundation of keeping our doors open for the youth of our communities. Those financial gifts provide our kids and teens a safe place to develop essential skills, enhance academic knowledge, make lasting connections and have fun virtually on a daily basis.
Our goal is to provide increased public awareness of the Boys & Girls Club of Harrisburg in Harrisburg. We are looking to enhance partnerships with aligned corporate partners, businesses and their employees and individuals who understand the importance of supporting our youth.
For you to invest in our club members is an investment in our community and beyond. Therefore, we are asking for your support. There are so many ways to donate. One way for you and/or your organization to participate would be with a “challenge grant” of any amount? Another way could be through employee and corporate “matching gifts” programs. And yes, individual donations continue to help support our youth in many ways.
